🇯🇵 PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. In Japanese, PechaKucha (ペチャクチャ) means “bla-bla-bla” or ”chit-chat”.

🌍 Now in over 1000 cities, PechaKucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people, innovators, entrepreneurs, changemakers get together and share their ideas, projects, works, thoughts in the PechaKucha 20×20 format.

⏱ PechaKucha 20×20 is a simple presentation format where the speakers show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and the presenters talk along to the images.

🇬🇪 PechaKucha Night has returned to Tbilisi after a 5-year pause to serve as a platform for the creative and innovation communities where they can inspire each other, network, and cooperate.

🌃 The topic of PechaKucha Night Tbilisi vol. 7 is “Digital Media Trends”.

Technology is shaking up the media world. New apps, social media channels, citizens with smartphones, drones, 360 degree images, VR stories and all other buzz words create the information noise and content clutter making it more and more challenging to get heard. What are the most recent trends globally and how do media keep up with those in Georgia? What works and what needs to be experimented further?

At PechaKucha Night Tbilisi vol. 7, media professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs and change-makers come together in one room to talk, discuss, share their stories and inspire us. PechaKucha Night Tbilisi is inviting everyone who wants to listen to, learn, network and have fun in a pleasant environment with interesting people.

The event and the talks will be in English.
