We’re continuing Fabrika’s innovative project, Fabrika Cinè-Club, seeking to infuse the city with an alternative film culture, cultivating an interest in alternative cinema. As long as the weather allows we’ll be gathering on our Hostel Rooftop. We’ve got warm blankets to keep you warm.

This Sunday we’ll watch “Songs from the second floor” ( 2000 ) directed by Roy Andersson, a Swedish filmmaker. Songs from the second floor, more than any other, cemented and exemplified his personal style which is characterized by long takes, absurdist comedy, stiff caricaturing of Swedish culture and Felliniesque grotesque.

The screening starts at 20.00, but you are welcome on the rooftop from 19:30 . The film will be shown in Swedish with English subtitles.

In Cinè-Club we don’t sell tickets for screenings but we use instead the Pay what you want system. That means you are free to come without registration in advance and to leave any reasonable amount of money, including zero, in the basket with “Pay what you want” sign.
