For the past four years, Dutch type foundry Typotheque has been working on a collection of Georgian fonts. In collaboration with local designers, it has developed a collection of typeface families, which will be launched at this event in Tbilisi.
The event will include an exhibition of a series of posters by local design legend George Bokhua, along with type designers Akaki Razmadze, Ana Sanikidze, and Matasi Sulakauri will present their work and process.
Typotheque founder Peter Bilak will discuss the importance of typography in a changing world and introduce the publication, ‘New Georgian Type,’ with the first few copies being given away for free. Join us for this exciting event and a drink.
