A new exhibition called “SLEEP” by Dion MBD opens October 1, at Tbilisi Art Boxes, in Fabrika • ფაბრიკა’s Yard. The series was inspired by the lack of sleep that college students are experiencing.

Dion is an illustrator who creates surreal images based on his mundane daily routines. He works mostly in the editorial and book fields although he is also venturing into the world of apparel, branding and TV. Dion has worked with the The New York Times, National Geographic Magazine Indonesia and Psyop TV. He also occasionally joins competitions / awards and has been in the 2017 and 2018 Society of Illustrators’ student exhibitions and become a runner-up in Creative Quarterly 51. Art Up Gallery is a digital art development project creating an alternative space of exhibitions in Georgia. The project gives the artists an opportunity to exhibit their works in the streets of Tbilisi and Batumi or sell them on online platform Artup.ge.
