After observing various myths around the world, American writer and researcher Joseph Campbell concluded that there is a kind of common path that all heroes follow and that this path reflects the path taken by a person or society at different times.
The path that Georgia has been following for more than a month now repeats the path described by Campbell, and therefore, it is necessary to inform the public about this work so that we know where we are currently and what may lie ahead.
That is why, on Sunday, January 12, at 4:00 PM, a meeting will be held in the Jungle Room of Fabrika (on top of Mullen) about Joseph Campbell’s book “The Ten-Faced Hero”. During the meeting, Levan Ghambashidze will talk about Campbell’s findings and discuss these findings using the example of three works: The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars.
Attendance at the meeting is free and is recommended for everyone involved in the protest today and for those who simply love literature.
After the meeting, we can discuss possible ways to expand and develop the protest, and then we will all join the ongoing rally on Rustaveli.
