We are thrilled to announce that this year our festival will host the legendary graffiti artist T-KID from New York!
We invite you to meet the artist and hear about “1970s to 1980s gangs, graffiti & hip-hop”
T-KID will share his experience and story about 70-80-s gangs, graffiti and the hip-hop scene in New York.
About our guest:
World-renowned graffiti artist, Julius Cavero aka T-KID 170, began his “career” in the mid-‘70s tagging under the name “King 13”. After a gang-related shoot-out, Cavero suffered three shots to the leg, nearly killing him. Cavero sketched endlessly, recreating himself as T-KID 170. At that time, Julius Cavero gave up gang life for street art. T-KID 170 became famous for his unique lettering, illustration style, and extremely prolific train-bombing.
