The screening of Georgian documentaries by Fabrika Cinema Club and Kinedok continues, and on August 7, we will present Luka Beradze’s film Smiling Georgia.
The film explores the 2012 pre-election campaign, during which special dental services were offered to citizens in rural regions. Free dental prostheses were provided to those over 50 years old as part of this initiative, which gives the film its title.
Smiling Georgia delves into the consequences of political power’s whims and the resilience of people affected by the pre-election campaign.
